  1. Isometric (ISO), concentric (CON), eccentric (ECC) forces and perceived muscle soreness (stepping) were assessed before (pre) and 12, 36 and 60 hours after 300 eccentric contractions of the quadriceps under control (PLA) or blueberry (BB) smoothie conditions. All values are mean ± standard deviation; * represents nificant (P < 0.001) time effect and § a significant P < 0.05 treatment (blueberry) x time interaction; n = 10 participants.
